Students skip board exams

The number of students who have skipped the UP board exams have swelled to Five lakh.

Total students who enrolled for exams were 60 lakhs

UP board examination system has been criticised for years across the country for being a system which has allowed mass cheating in exams in previous years.

This year there has been a complete overhaul of the examination process and related controls to ensure no cases of cheating happen during the exams. There has been highest level of monitoring of the examination system which includes frisking of students and even putting up cctvs at all examination centres.

Despite these arrangements almost 130 students across the state were caught cheating and were immediately stopped from giving exams.

UP education minister has also been doing surprise visits to various examination centres to check all arrangements
