The PAT (Performance Analysis Test) is an annual examination conducted online by CBSE for its schools affiliated under CBSE International curriculum. It helps assisting children in choosing their careers will also be conducted at school for all the students of class X and to measure the students’ abilities and skills in a subject. The tentative months to conduct this test is April/May.
Conduct:
The test will be organised online in the 1st week of April 2012 at cbsei.org
Results:
The results for latest PAT would announced at cbse-international.com/cbse-iportal/complete/results.jsp
Pattern:
There will be 50 questions and 90 minutes duration will be given to attempt the questions. There is no negative marking. It is planned that each school shall be allotted a specified date and time for a given class and a given subject, to manage the total number of students appearing in the online exam at a given point of time. This will test for student’s ability for observing, comparing, classifying, solving, translating, interpreting, analyzing, synthesizing, creating/composing, deducing, justifying and judging/evaluating.
Subjects:
- Language: Vocabulary, reading, comprehension or accuracy.
- Science: Ability to apply concepts and principles to analyze new situations and solve problem and skills of devising and conducting experiments etc.
- Mathematics: Problem solving abilities and skills of mathematical thinking, procedures and mathematical reasoning of the students.

Schools can register for PAT at www.cbserod.net.in/regn/loginpat.aspx
Important:
- The Students shall take online PAT in the school. Schools shall make arrangement (computers with internet facility) for the number of students as per the schedule in datesheet.
- The fee for the test is INR 500 per subject.
