Schools start selling NCERT textbooks

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) have asked all private schools to make use NCERT portal to send the required number of NCERET textbooks for students in the school. After opening the portal www.ncertbooks.ncert.gov.in the schools will have to register themselves and fill required fields by going into specific link to purchase books for the 2018-19 academic year.

For providing the NCERET textbooks to students, permitted number of shops will be opened in the school premises. These shops will also have other stationary materials needed for students for academic purposes.

Rather than opening commercial book stores, shops will be opened in schools with permission for providing textbooks, the orders have been send to all private school heads.
