Ramakrishna mission and CBSE

With the help of Ramakrishna mission’s, the CBSE board provides better educational lessons for its students

The Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi has come up with an innovative idea of conducting 'Awakened Citizen Programme' for all the students and teachers. The aim of the program is to promote and strengthen the standards of education all over India.

The CBSE board

As the Central Board of Secondary Education has linked up with the Ramakrishna mission with the motto to provide better standards of education for all its affiliated school's students. Therefore the board is taking a step forward in making the students get awareness about the harmony, peace, cooperation, and humanity. For all the students affiliated with CBSE board from class 6th to 8th will be aware of this programme that will be added to their academic standards for three years.

Awakened Citizen Programme

The circular send to all the schools by the CBSE board has informed that the students should be aware of the important values like peace, harmony, humility, and compassion. Since these values have become part of the society for centuries and the board has felt the importance and need to make them a part of the schools itself. With the main objective to promote and strengthen the basic values of life the CBSE board has been tied up with the Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi and has come up with ‘Awakened Citizen Programme’.

Nevertheless, the schools came up volunteering for the programme thereby implemented in their respective schools. So the board has informed that all the schools opted for this program should assign 6 periods per year. This should be followed by every school for the minimum of 3 years. And the programme initially starts with two days training for all the teachers in the respective schools.  All the schools interested in the programme should get registered with the Ramakrishna Mission to confirming their participation.
