Human Resource Development Ministry will soon post on its website the details regarding reduction of NCERT syllabus and ask for suggestions from teachers, parents, educational experts, students and any other concerned person.
Everybody will be given time for more than month to post their suggestions and comments on the syllabus reduction by NCERT.
The suggestions will be then reviewed by the ministry after 2 months based on which the decision to reduce the syllabus will be finalized.
As per information received the revision and reduction in syllabus will be a multi-year exercise which will span over a period of 2-3 years with gradual change, reduction in the syllabus and contents of the books published by NCERT.
The focus of the ministry is to impart value education and tell students about life skills, experiential learning and physical fitness in our daily life.
The NCERT books will be changed from session which is going to start from 2019 onwards. Watch this space more on the changes which are going to be announced soon.
