NCERT Books to teach about big personalities

NCERT and CBSE has been planning to make many changes in the syllabus for 2019. As per the announcement from the government the syllabus was initially planned to be reduced by almost 50% but now the syllabus reduction will be done gradually over a period of many years. During this time many chapters will be modified, deleted and new chapters might also be added based on the latest education trend and educational requirements of the students.

The NCERT books currently do not teach much about the great Indian leaders. Taking this into consideration you might see new detailed chapters getting introduced in the NCERT books on various leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, APJ Abdul Kalam, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and more.

The change will be visible in the books which will be realised in 2019. The details have not been made available about the number of chapters on the personalities and from which class onwards the chapters will be added as of now.

The government and NCERT are working on revision of all the books based on the suggestions received from a large number of people. The revised syllabus and the books would be applicable from session starting from 2019 onwards.

The NCERT has a huge responsibility to print so many books by 2019 and make them available to millions of students in the entire country. The soft copies of the NCERT books will also be available on the NCERT official website which the students will be able to download and read them online or print some chapters and use them till the time actual books is not available from the bookstores.

The importance of NCERT books is increasing day by day and it is expected that slowly and gradually the NCERT books will be made mandatory for all students in all the states by end of 2019.  The quality of the books is also increasing and is at par with most of the good books which are being printed by private Publishers.

The students have been advised by various senior teachers to concentrate more on the books issued by NCERT and do reading of the NCERT books on a daily basis.  the teachers have also emphasized that the students should do the questions which are given at the end of each chapter of NCERT and do NCERT solutions on a regular basis which will help them to understand the concepts and also do timely practice so that the pressure at the time of examinations is not there on the students and the students are able to score good marks in school level as well as national level examinations.

NCERT is also issued exemplar problem booklets which has very good quality of questions which have been designed keeping into consideration the capabilities of all levels of students as the questions are of various difficulty levels and various types.   The exemplar problems or even practiced by students who are appearing for professional examinations as they have been recommended by teachers for teaching in professional classes.  It is highly advised that the students should totally understand the concepts which are given in the NCERT books,   do the NCERT solutions on a regular basis and also do   exemplar problems.  If the students follow this routine then they will not be any need to refer to books issued by private publishers and the students will be able to score good marks in examinations.
