NCERT Books to teach about big personalities

NCERT and CBSE has been planning to make many changes in the syllabus for 2019. As per the announcement from the government the syllabus was initially planned to be reduced by almost 50% but now the syllabus reduction will be done gradually over a period of many years. During this time many chapters will be modified, deleted and new chapters might also be added based on the latest education trend and educational requirements of the students.

The NCERT books currently do not teach much about the great Indian leaders. Taking this into consideration you might see new detailed chapters getting introduced in the NCERT books on various leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, APJ Abdul Kalam, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and more.

The change will be visible in the books which will be realised in 2019. The details have not been made available about the number of chapters on the personalities and from which class onwards the chapters will be added as of now.

The government and NCERT are working on revision of all the books based on the suggestions received from a large number of people. The revised syllabus and the books would be applicable from session starting from 2019 onwards.

The NCERT has a huge responsibility to print so many books by 2019 and make them available to millions of students in the entire country. The soft copies of the NCERT books will also be available on the NCERT official website which the students will be able to download and read them online or print some chapters and use them till the time actual books is not available from the bookstores.
