CBSE or Central Board of Education has now decided to expand the passing criteria for the class 10 examinations in 2019 and onwards. The students have to secure overall 33 percent marks including both practical and theory in the subjects to be eligible to pass that subject. That means students don’t have to pass individually in practical and theory. Due to this announcement, it’s easy for the candidates to pass the CBSE class 10 board exam.
As per the new criteria of CBSE, if any candidate is absent in any practical or internal assessment then the marks allotted to him/her is zero and the result will be computed accordingly.
Because of the new criteria, there will be more chances to pass the board exam. As the ratio of passing the board exams increase, more and more positive results will come.
Meanwhile, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to declare the result by May third week.
