How to Manage Stress during Exams

When exams are on your end just feel prepared and don’t get stressed; it is the best gift for you at that time. Some amount of stress is necessary at that particular time but over stress affecting your examination can be harmful for your results. So before exams try to take a moment and make a plan to manage your stress. Some tips to manage your stress are as follows-

- The best way to manage your anxiety is to be prepared as much as possible. Review your notes time to time and keep in mind the CBSE importance questions which can come in your test paper. Join group studies and impart your knowledge with your friends it will make you more confident.

- Before your examination try to sleep at least 6-7 hours. If you are staying up late or pulling yourself for late night studies you will not feel active in your exams. Drowsiness will make you feel sleepy and inconvenient to write for 2-3 hours continuously.

- For outlet of mental stress give yourself physical exertion. Take a walk, listen to music, read books and make yourself comfortable in your free time during examination.

- Prioritize your study time more, neglecting things which waste your time for no benefit. Re-write your notes, make flash cards, make power point presentations and make your study fun.

- Sense of calmness is very necessary to manage stress and tension. If while studying you tensed you will not be able to learn things easily.

- Don’t feel isolated and alone at the time of studying, develop a strong support system as a back up to boost your confidence time to time. Try to set realistic goals and focus on present.

- If you have a problem with some subjects and lessons try to take coaching and seek professional support. Practice each and everything don’t leave things behind and move further.

 Asses your preparation, relax for your examination and your hard work will surely pay. It is important to remember that these examinations are not the end of the world. You give your 100% and you will get the perfect result out of any stress.
