The board exams of 2018 for class 10 and class 12 was a major task for CBSE. There were rumours of paper leak almost for every exam and couple of papers actually leaked which led to re-examination conducted by the board.
Keeping the challenges faced by the CBSE board, there are plans to completely overhaul the examination system by use of more technology in distribution and printing of question papers.
A committee was formed to suggest changes in the examination has submitted its report to the government. The report majorly suggests various technologies to make the examination system fool proof.
The technology will aim to reduce human intervention in the examination process which will reduce chances of the papers getting leaked.
The board and the government are currently reviewing the report and will consider suggestions which will make the examination system stronger.
If changes are accepted we can expect them to be slowly implemented and an improved examination system for exams to be held next year.
