On the occasion of the birth anniversaries of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Lala Lajpat Rai on January 23 and January 28, respectively CBSE has decised to hold essay competitions on various topics in all CBSE schools across India.
The CBSE essay competition will open for students from class 5 to 7. The topics for the essay competition will be available on www.cbseacademic.in from where the students can choose the topic for writing the essays. The CBSE board has advised the teachers and principals to check the site and provide the topics to the students.
The essays have to be of 500 maximum and can be in any scheduled language. There are 22 scheduled languages.
For submission of the entries the links for submission will be available on the website January 29 from 9am to 9pm.
The CBSE board will check the entries and the best 36 entries will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 2500 and a certificate of excellence.
