Admission to Kendriya Vidyalayas

The admission process for Kendriya Vidyalayas class 1 students are going to start from today and the process will continue till March 18. The admissions for class 2 till class 12 will start in April.

The students will get admissions to class 2 of the KV school they want to get admission only on availability of seats in that school. Similarly, the admission in class 11 will depend on the board results and seat availability in class 11.

The age limit which has been defined this time for admission to class 1 has been between 5-7 years and for students who want to take admission in class 10 must be between 14 to 16 years. The age will be considered as on March 31.

For students who have disabilities a relaxation of 2 years of age has been set. The reservation for SC and ST students continues to be there like last year and EWS students are going to get 25% reservations with 3% seats going to differently abled students.

The registration forms can be collected from the school counters free of cost from today onwards.
