Moderation Policy Will Be Changed Form Next Academic Year

CBSE board has decided to remove the moderation policy from this academic year. CBSE board will have a revision in the policy and will declare its decision within a week regarding the marking scheme to be done at the Board examination.

The committee meeting will be held on June 29th. But after bringing on the new system it will become hard for students and they have to work hard for scoring good marks in the subjects. There would be some new restrictions imposed for awarding marks.

In 1992, CBSE Moderation Policy came into existence. But some schools used this method wrong to increase the mark of the students.  As the mark increased, the cut-off for so many colleges also increased where it became difficult for some of the students to enter in colleges.

It has been announced that CBSE board will have one question paper system for all schools over the state. Different schemes and level of difficulty questions rise for the different set of question papers.

The decision is still pending and CBSE board must take effective steps to bring the new method into existence. A decision must not be taken in any hurry burry situation. It must be well discussed with all the advantages and disadvantages before itself only after that decision must be taken.
