The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has successfully conducted the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) for medical and dental courses. The Supreme Court of India had earlier cancelled the examination held on May 3 due to reports of leak of question paper of AIPMT.
CBSE has issued a statement in which they have declared that the AIPMT examination have been held all India without any cheating incident. Total 6,32,625 candidates were registered for this examination, out of which only 4,22,859 candidates downloaded the admit card. The examination was conducted at 1,065 centres in 50 cities throughout the country and abroad.
The board also stated that the examinations were successful because of the strict arrangements made at all examination centres. The CBSE is yet to declare the dates by which the results wil be announced.
