Write a paragraph on the topic- ‘A Rainy Day’
It was the hot month of July. The morning was quite clear. Suddenly a cool breeze started blowing around noon. The school was about to close. Dark clouds appeared in the sky and soon the sky was covered with dark clouds. Soon, it started raining heavily. People began to run here and there for shelter. Some people took refuge under the trees while others stood under the tin or tarpaulin shades of shops. The children were returning from schools so they did not bother to take shelter anywhere. They enjoyed the rain in open, little caring for their worried parents at home. The roads were filled with water and the drains started overflowing. Some people were seen carrying umbrellas. The children were enjoying the rain. They floated paper boats on running water. The rain stopped after an hour. The temperature fell considerably. Everybody got a relief from the scorching heat of the sun for some time.
Note- After doing the above paragraph write a paragraph on the topic ‘How I Spent My
Lockdown Period During Corona Pandemic’.
