UPSEE Eligibility Criteria
Nationality and Domicile
Candidates must be an Indian national/NRI/PIO or foreign national to be eligible for UPSEE 2020.
Candidates must have either passed the qualifying exam from any institution in Uttar Pradesh or must be a domicile of Uttar Pradesh in order to be eligible for UPSEE 2020
Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Nationals
Foreign Nationals/PIOs must fulfill the following eligibility conditions to be eligible for UPSEE 2020-
Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, which is considered equivalent to (10+2) examination by the Association of Indian Universities.
Candidates must submit a copy of passport in support of their Nationality.
UPSEE Examination
UPSEE stands for Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination conducted by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) for different engineering institutions. UPSEE allow candidate to get admission in all the UPSEE colleges that offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses. This exam held in 70 cities across India. But candidate can secure admission in any 841 colleges in state of Agra, 93 colleges in Ghaziabad and 75 colleges in Gautam budh Nagar affiliated to AKTU. It is an offline mode exam takes place once a year. From 2019, students who do not have the domicile can too apply 20% of the seats in the institute affiliated to AKTU. The difficulty level of this exam is generally easy as experienced by the students in previous papers. The exam date for UPSEE is around in the month of May while the result is expected in the first week of june.

USEE exam does not have a negative marking although record of incorrect answer is kept. But the candidate with less number of incorrect answers will be given preference at higher merit list. The syllabus of UPSEE is available separately for all the 8 papers on the official site of UPSEE i.e. upsee.nic.in.
Eligibility
- Candidates who are appearing for UPSEE PG must hold a Bachelor’s degree in the subjects required in their PG courses.
- Candidate should have cleared the Intermediate examination with the subject required in their desired courses.
- Aggregate of 50% marks from a reputed university in case of general category.
- Aggregate of 45% marks in case of SC/ST categories.
- Before a candidate applies for any course through UPSEE exam, they must check the required eligibility criteria for their concerned courses.
