NSO Eligibility Criteria

Level 1 Exam

  • Students in Class 1 to 12 all are eligible to apply for SOF National Science Olympiad (NOS)
  • They can only apply once in every academic year

Level 2 Exam

  • Students who qualify the NSO level 1 are eligible for level 2

Eligible BOARDS

  • According to NSO 2019, at least 10 students should register from their respective school
  • Students of CBSE, SSC or ICSE boards are eligible

About National Science Olympiad (NSO)

Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) conducts National Science Olympiad (NSO) for class 1 to 12. NSO is annual scholarship exam which aims at developing scientific reasoning and logical ability among school students. NSO is organised every year to enhance understanding of scientific facts, reasoning, analytical and problem solving skills.  SOF National Science Olympiad is conducted at two levels i.e. Level 1 & Level 2.

Registration for National Science Olympiad (NSO)

The National Science Olympiad (NSO) exam is conducted in November to February. For registration, the prospect is sent to all schools registered with the Science Olympiad Foundation. Teachers will generate students roll number as per guideline. For registration normal fee for NSO paper will be charged from students.
