Class 12 Qualification

CA foundation course is the entry level test for Chartered Accountancy (CA) course by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Students after passing class 12th or any equivalent exam recognized by Central government can register for this course.
CA foundation course is the entry level test for Chartered Accountancy (CA) course by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Students after passing class 12th or any equivalent exam recognized by Central government can register for this course. CA Foundation test is conducted twice in a year in the month of May and November. After registration candidate will be given 4 months study period for preparation.
CA CPT revised as CA Foundation. CPT (Common Proficiency Test) exam is considered to be much easier than the other- CA intermediate & CA Final and thus decision was taken it replace it with CA foundation. In that matter ICAI president said that they are introducing the subjective pattern in the CA foundation because of the objective pattern in the CA-CPT as it lead to the guesswork from hundreds of candidates and thus many ineligible candidate gets entrance in CA foundation. In order to reduce such vulnerabilities ICAI has introduced CA foundation instead of CPT.
CA Foundation has comprises of 4 papers –
Paper 1: Subjective type-Principles and Practice of Accounting (100 Marks)
Paper 2: Subjective type Business Law & Business Correspondence and Reporting (100 Marks)
Paper 3: Objective Type-Business Mathematics and Logical Reasoning & Statistics (100 Marks)
Paper 4: Objective Type -Business Economics & Business and Commercial Knowledge
Passing Criteria for CA Foundation
