Die Bauern arbeiteten auf den Feldern und fuhren mit ihren Wagen die Ernte nach Haus. Das Wetter war schön und die Luft war warm. Plötzlich kamen viele Wolken aus dem Westen

und nach einer Viertelstunde gab es ein Gewitter über das Land. Es regnete, blitzte und donnerte. Der Student kam in ein Dorf und hielt vor einem Gasthaus. Er trat in das Gasthaus ein. Es war klein und gemütlich. Der Gast setzte sich an einen Tisch in der Ecke und wollte ein Mittagessen bestellen. Er konnte aber nicht Deutsch und der Wirt verstand kein Wort Französisch. Der Student wollte gerade Pilze bestellen. Dann hatte er eine Idee. Er nahm einen Bleistift und zeichnete auf die Serviette einen Pilz. Der Wirt sah die Zeichnung, nickte mit dem Kopf und ging aus der Gaststube. Der Gast freute sich auf das Essen und besonders auf die Pilze. Aber er freute sich zu früh, weil der Wirt keinen Teller mit Pilzen brachte, sondern einen Regenschirm.
