CBSE files FIR against website

Read the statement by CBSE below-

Subsequent to the false news circulated on various media platforms on 11.04.2018 alleging that some questions in JEE (Main) 2018 Exam were identical to 2016 mock test of Narayana Coaching Academy, CBSE issued a detailed clarification yesterday (11.04.2018) itself to all media debunking the false news after thorough enquiry into the matter.

Reconduct of Board Exams in Punjab

The Board's Class  X/XII Examinations scheduled on 02.04.2018 could not be conducted in the State of Punjab due to Bharat Bandh and had to be cancelled.

It has now been decided to conduct the above said cancelled examinations  on 27'" April 2018 (Friday) for candidates of the State of Punjab for Class X/XII. 2018. Following is the schedule for conduct of Examination :

Friday, 27'" April,2018 - 10:30 AM to 1:30PM

Sanskrit

Urdu Course B

Class XII

Hindi Elective

Request from NCERT to provide suggestions

NCERT has published an advertisement in the daily newspapers today seeking suggestions from teachers and parents on the changes in syllabus which should be applicable for various classes. CBSE and NCERT are in the process of redesigning the entire syllabus from class 1 till class 12 which will be most probably applicable from session starting in 2019 onwards. Significant reduction in syllabus is expected for all classes with some subjects getting removed completely.

Why no retest decision was taken by CBSE

CBSE declared few days back that class 10 Mathematics examination will not be conducted inspite of strong rumours that the Mathematics board exams paper was leaked hours before the examination and was circulated widely in Delhi and Punjab region.

The details behind the decision taken by CBSE have now come to light. CBSE had on random basis selected answer sheets of 1000 students across Delhi, Patna and Panchkula region.

All these answer sheets were checked to identify any problems like sudden increase in passing percentage or any specific pattern in the answer style.

No retest for class 10 board exam

Today CBSE has finally declared that there will not be any retest for class 10 mathematics examination. Even though there was news that the question paper has been leaked with strong evidences but taking due care of the hardships faced by honest students CBSE has finally declared that no retest will be conducted.

The decision has come after the evaluators have examined many answer sheets from various schools and have not noted any major problems.

Alert against fake Question Papers of CBSE Board Examination 2018

There has been numerous reports of paper leak of Class 12 and Class 10. CBSE has come forward and issued a press release to quash the rumours. See the press releases below-

It is bring to the kind notice that a fake question paper of Class XII – Hindi (Elective) is being circulated on social media i.e. whatsapp, you tube etc. is not a real one. It is hereby informed that the question papers circulating on these social media are either of old year or a fake question paper.

CBSE Exams for class 10 and 12 postponed in Punjab

The problems faced by CBSE board during the current ongoing board exams for class 10 and class 12 doesn’t seems to end. The investigations for the major paper leak for class 12 is still going on with students agitating and filing cases in SC against the re-conduct of examinations.

Now due to Bharat Bandh organized in Punjab by various Dalit Organizations all schools and public transport systems have been ordered to be completely shut down by the Punjab government.

NCERT Books QR Code

CBSE board is in the process of making major changes in the syllabus for all classes according to which NCERT books will be revised. The new NCERT Books will be applicable from next year. In continuation to the changes being made, it has now been decided that QR codes will be printed on new set of NCERT Textbooks which will be issued in 2019.

Students will be able to scan the QR code using their phone by which they will be able to access various videos and other online reading material relating to the subject which will help the students to make their concepts more clear.
