CBSE has started a contest on filmmaking to promote awareness about culture and traditions of the north eastern states of India. The short films on the north eastern states can be made in 22 scheduled languages. The CBSE has named this competition as “THE MARVELS OF NORTH EAST INDIA” .
The CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) which is conducted by CBSE twice in an year will be held on February 22, 2015. CBSE has again made the site available for the candidates to rectify or change their details for the upcoming examinations.
For the CBSE, ICSE and IB affiliated schools the Maharashtra government has declared that for admission to nursery the minimum age of the child should be 3 years as on July 31 of the academic year in which the admission is sought.The rule has already been implemented from academic year 2015-16. This rule will also apply for admission to play groups. The rule may be made mandatory for private operators too who operate play groups.
There is an increasing trend amongst students to indulge into alcohol and tobacco products. The impact of the exposure is positive as well as negative. One of the negative impacts is that students have started smoking cigarettes in schools itself.
Small tobacco products and cigarettes sellers set up shops near to the schools. The students buy these products using their daily pocket money. Such kind of products impacts the health of the students very negatively.
The examination for JEE Main 2015 is scheduled to be held in April 2015. The examination will taken up by lakhs of 10+2 students who after clearing this examination will get chance to get admission into IITs and various other engineering colleges. Students have already filled up the registrations for this examination and are waiting for the admit cards to be issued by the board which can be downloaded from the CBSE website.
On the occasion of the birth anniversaries of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Lala Lajpat Rai on January 23 and January 28, respectively CBSE has decised to hold essay competitions on various topics in all CBSE schools across India.
Central Board of Secondary Education's (CBSE) Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) has again opened up their website for registrants who by mistake had entered incorrect details during registration or would like to change their details for the upcoming examinations.
