World Robot Olympiad (WRO) 2018: CBSE Circular

The India STEM Foundation is jointly organizing the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) 2018 with National Council of Science Museum (NCSM), an autonomous society under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The key objectives of this Olympiad are to build scientific temperament and 21st century skills in students, foster an eco-system of tinkering aimed at promoting innovative and creative thinking. The theme for WRO 2018 is “Food Matters”.

Participation is voluntary and is entirely at the discretion of schools and students.

Students may be encouraged to participate in the event to learn and showcase their skills.

World Robot Olympiad India (WRO India) is one of the largest Robotics competition in India for students between the age group of 9 to 25 years, held since 2006. It is a not-for-profit competition organized by India STEM Foundation.

World Robot Olympiad™ is an event for science, technology and education which brings together the young people all over the world to develop their creativity and problem solving skills through challenging and educational robotics competitions.

Schools are invited to enter a team of three students to participate in this competition. Participating teams need to create, design and build a robot model that look or behave like a human athlete. The competition starts from preliminary to the final judging.
