UGC NET Exam 2017 Schedule Changed

Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct UGC NET 2017 on 19th of November. It is prepended to 5th of November. Official notification will be released on 24 July. Candidates can start applying from 1st August. CBSE conducts UGC NET for junior fellowship. And also CBSE is conducting for eligibility for assistant professor post.

Till now, the exam was held twice in a year in 84 subjects at 90 exam centers nationwide. CBSE conducts the National Eligibility Test, on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC).

After all, CBSE released the notification after two months. The decision of scrapping July exam was not received well by aspirants. The protest had started against moving the bi annual examination to a yearly event. University Grants Commission (UGC) is the headquarters in ITO which is in Delhi. SFI produced a protest in front of UGC. Delhi moved against the SFI. So the SFI condemned the Delhi move to scrap the exam schedule for July which was then scheduled to be conducted on 19 November.

  • Corrections in the online application for UGC NET Nov 2017 can be made from September 2017.
  • Release of admit cards is in October 2017
  • UGC NET exam is on 19th November
  • Test concludes three papers from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm
  • Release of official answer key is in January 2018
  • Declaration of the result will be in March 2018.
