Tips and tricks for physics exam

As the students are going to attend the CBSE physics examination, they are more likely to get nervous and exam fear before attending this exam. Don't fret, be cool and relax. We are here to provide you with the last minute tips and tricks for facing physics exam.

Before an exam

  • Make sure that you have studied all the important equations, problem, definitions and diagram. Also, study all the units of some physical quantity.
  •  Make a list of  different types of conceptual questions based on the principles or law
  •  We should believe in the adage “practice makes perfect”. Try solving more practice questions for problems and 2 marks.
  • In addition to this, try to solve the entire question paper in 3 hours which would help you to complete the exam in time.
  • Try to increase your memory power and concentration level by frequent yoga and meditation

 On day before an exam

  • Wake up early morning and start revising all the important Physics formula, equations, and all questions an answer
  • As soon as you have revised the entire book, close your eyes and meditate for 5 minutes and say yourself that you are strong enough to face your exam.
  • Stay relaxed and confident which is the key to face the exam with ease.

During the exam

Admit card:  make sure that you have possessed all the essential document and stationary item before going for an exam. Be sure that you have you admit card with you.

 Read carefully:   Read the question paper completely for the first 15 minutes which is allotted for revising the question paper only. Hence check out which question is more likely to answer. Additionally, check out marks allotted to every question.

Answering tips:  keep in mind that the derivations must have the introduction part. Hence give a few words about the law and start deriving the equations gently. Provide crystal clear diagram to the topic if necessary.

Make a good choice: since there is an internal choice of every question, you should analyze the best choice that suits you. Don’t waste time for thinking about it during writing. Rather you should do it during reading the question paper for first 15 minutes.

Sequence: make sure that you have followed exact sequence when you are about to write the steps or process

Examples:  Try to include few examples of every 2 marks questions If possible

Time management: Time management is one of the essential skills to complete the paper in time. If any of the questions asking to ‘differentiate’ or ‘distinguish', try to present the answer in tabular form.

Repeated answer: if you attempt a question thrice or twice, you will be more likely to lose the mark.

Revision:  leave last 15 minutes for revision purpose.
