Schools And Students Are Ready For New Academic Year But Textbooks Are Missing

The New Academic year for the students has been started. We obviously know that the reopening of many schools was kept postponing because of summer. But then before two weeks, all schools reopened and the academic year for 2017-2018 has been started.

In the previous years, there would be books present for the students even before the academic year started. As per the Latest CBSE News, even after two weeks of schools, books have yet not reached the schools and the students are not happy with their new week in school.

The CBSE Books are printed and published by National Council for Education Research and Training (NCERT) to all CBSE schools. When complaints are being registered for the delay of books the answers we receive from them is that there are some problems and issues in Supply.

Year by year this procedure of distributing books takes place then s how could the members be so careless. The schools have been started and it is more than two weeks the students are attending their classes without Text Books.

And the question next passed to Distributors they gave an answer there is only one Depot for South India at Bangalore. And also even when the book arrives at them the books are first sent to the other states and only, at last, the Books will be distributed to the schools at local.

The missing textbooks are

•           English Textbooks for class 9 and 10.

•           Economic Textbooks for class 9

•           Hindi Textbooks for Class 7

So, seeing the issues, Schools have started to take some steps to control the problem. They have requested the senior students to give their textbooks to juniors. Even at some schools, they take some writing classes during those periods because of these Text Book issues.

Along with this problem, some schools are complaining about the other issues present behind the shortage of Text Books. The State Government members have decided to change the syllabus of Kannada subject this year. But CBSE board members have not yet decided to change the old Syllabus. Owing to the confusion, Due to the shortage of books schools are now taking the old syllabus only.

The New syllabus does not include most of the chapters present in old Syllabus. The schools are using the old syllabus only. These confusions and the shortage of books are creating more issues to the student's side only.

The Text Book issues problem and the Kannada Syllabus problem must be solved very quickly for the welfare of the students. The Board members must look through this problem carefully and must find the root cause and must try to clear it up next time.
