RULES FOR CBSE SCHOOLS FILM COMPETITION 2015

1.   Topics for film entry-

• North East India- Land of Enormous Beauty
• Vibrant/ colorful festivals of North-East
• North East India Tourism -Travel Attractions
• Crafts of North-East
• Flora and Fauna of North-East

 2.   Time limit : Up to 05 minutes maximum for each of the categories.

3.   Entries (with dialogues) produced in a language other than English must have English subtitles.

4.   Entries must be original and undistributed works produced, written and/or directed by the submitting student. CBSE schools across the country may participate.

5.   The films  should  have  been  produced  during 2012-2015,  exclusively by the  students  who  are forwarding the film(s) for the competition. Schools may send multiple entries.

6.   If  your  entry  is  selected  for  screening  at  the  festival,  we  request  that  the  director  or  a representative of the film should attend the festival.

7.   Each entry must be accompanied by the following:- a)  Completely filled form (format attached).

b)  Appropriate clearances or rights (letter of permission from the school authorities).

c)  One copy of the film on DVD video format. Films shot on mobiles phones also acceptable.

8.   Entries may be disqualified for the following reasons:-

a)  Inappropriate material, incomplete application, accompanied materials or documentation b)  Submissions on non-specified format or media.

c)  Entries, which are submitted at incorrect entry levels or categories.

9.   All entries must reach by 20th February, 2015. No entry will be entertained after this date.

10. Students/Schools whose films are chosen for screening in the festival will be notified.

11. Films will be selected and judged by a panel of jury. Decision of the judges will be final and binding.

12. Tentative Date of Competition.  First week of April – Date will be intimated later
