NCERT Class 9, Class 11 books to help clear JEE, NEET

The Gujrat education Department declared the introduction of (National Council of Educational Research and Training) NCERT books in Class 9 & 11 from the next academic session i.e. 2018-19. This move was made because the students faced immense difficulty in solving the recently held CBSE JEE Main paper 1 for getting enrollment in BE & B Tech specialization.

As per the view of Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, this decision has been taken to dodge the strain as faced by the students of the Gujrat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) in cracking the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for engineering and medical courses

He also stated that the legislation shall standardize fees in private schools of the state and that will be put to effect from the current academic term. It was recently passed in the Gujarat Assembly and thus the implementation remains incomplete till now.

Furthermore to this, there is a fee structure that has been approved by the fee regulatory committee however some private institutes have been charging more than the prescribed fee in the current quarter therefore they will now have to adjust the same in the subsequent quarter. If the same is not complied, strict and severe action shall be taken against the schools and that can tantamount to the withdrawal of recognition as well.

In the meantime, Supreme Court also permitted candidates above 25 years to appear for NEET.
