CBSE board is in the process of making major changes in the syllabus for all classes according to which NCERT books will be revised. The new NCERT Books will be applicable from next year. In continuation to the changes being made, it has now been decided that QR codes will be printed on new set of NCERT Textbooks which will be issued in 2019.
Students will be able to scan the QR code using their phone by which they will be able to access various videos and other online reading material relating to the subject which will help the students to make their concepts more clear.
Quick Response (QR) Code is a machine-readable code consisting of an array of black and white squares, which are essentially web links that can be read by smartphone cameras.
The revised syllabus for session 2018-2019 has already been issued by CBSE in which changes were made in the syllabus for English. You can get the details in the blog section of our website.
The revised/ reduced course for all classes will be applicable from 2019 session onwards. The new set of NCERT books with reduced course will also have the QR codes printed on the books
