Inaccuracy in NEET Results – CBSE releases revised answer key

A revised answer key was released by CBSE on their official website, CBSE neet.nic.in on Sunday for the ambitious students who appeared for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) hoping to become doctors and dentists.

Following the upload of the original answer key, a candidate challenged the sheet and filed a petition claiming there were inaccuracies in the calculation of her marks. CBSE then released a revised sheet and said that the applicants’ marks were based on the revised answer key.

The court granted the petitioner time to review the calculation of her marks on the basis of the amended sheet. The next case hearing is to be held on July 24.

To check the revised answer keys:

  • Visit CBSE neet.nic.in
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select “Online Services” and then “Downloads”
  • Click on the link that says Answer Key and download

Students who cleared the NEET exam may now register for counselling for admission into their desired medical field on the official Medical Counseling Committee website, www.mcc.nic.in. Candidates have only until 5 pm, July 11 to register for the first round. MCC will be accepting registrations for the next round of counselling August 1. Applicants can check the counselling results on July 15.
