Importance of NCERT

NCERT is an organization which was formed by the Government of India in 1961. The organisation was formed by merging atleast seven government education institutions. The NCERT was formed to standardize the education system in India. The main objective was to publish high quality NCERT books which can be implemented in the entire country to ensure standard education system across the country.

NCERT began operations in 1961 and along with CBSE started to design the books which initially got implemented in the CBSE affiliated schools in India. The objective was to make standardized books which can be read by students across India. The aim was to address the problem of students reading different books and following different syllabus in the same standard. This led to issues during admissions of students moving from one state to another or conducting board examinations.

These students also used to face issues when moving to cities like Delhi or Mumbai for admission to universities.

NCERT was set up with the following main objectives:

a) Doing education research and implementing new ideas which can help to improve education standard amongst students

b) Develop National Curriculum Framework which will include latest syllabus for all classes, NCERT text books for all classes, various teaching tools and aids, videos and audios for children and any other relevant study material

c) Providing training to teachers on latest teaching tools which will help them to impart education to students.

d) Also to work along with CBSE and other state boards to standardize course and improve education standards.

NCERT has since then developed NCERT books for all subjects and classes as per the syllabus issued. The books are revised from time to time based on the recommendations received from government or the teachers and students.

NCERT books are considered to be the most important books if you are studying for board exams. The students must ensure that all the contents in the books are properly understood. The concepts in the books have been very carefully and nicely explained in self-explanatory manner which are easy to learn and understand.

The books also have exercises and questions between the chapters and at the end of the chapters. The students are strongly advised by their teachers to solve the NCERT questions and compare their NCERT solutions with what has been taught by the teachers and with their friends. It’s very important for the students to do NCERT solutions as this helps them to make sure that they understand the concepts. There are NCERT Solutions for class 6, NCERT solutions for class 7 and other classes for subjects like mathematics, science, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, social science etc which has been very carefully designed and have been uploaded chapter wise in pdf format on www.studiestoday.com which is being downloaded free by students in the entire country. The students have taken printouts and have used them for class and home works.

NCERT SolutionsDoing NCERT Solutions and exemplar solutions help the students to be thorough with the conceits in the chapters. This helps them to get good marks in the school and board exams. The CBSE has been instructed to make question papers only from the syllabus and conceits as explained in the NCERT books. The students can refer to other books of some private publishers also for extra practice but they should not ignore the important of NCERT books and solutions as they have been designed by those teachers who might set the question papers for your exams. We encourage the students to download NCERT solutions and Exemplar solutions for all classes and subjects. You can click on the class wise and subject links to access the solutions. No login is required to download as you can simply click on the links and download the solutions. We promote e-learning, thus the solutions have been broken down into chapter wise pdf files. Students can now download only NCERT solutions for the chapter for which they are searching for and print only for that chapter instead of printing solutions for the entire NCERT book.
