How To Understand Subjects Easily

Preparing for the various subjects in examination can be stressful. Allocate a place to study, and make a time-table in the beginning of the year itself. Follow these simple points and get yourself prepared for examination.

  1. MATHS: The keyword for studying maths is PRACTICE. The more you practice, the better you would perform. Of course you should know your tables, formulas. In fact learn your squares, cubes, and even addition and subtraction tables. They will make the calculations very easy. Understand the definitions as you learn them. When you get stuck on a problem, try solving it yourself. When you find the solution on your own, you will never forget it. Whenever studying mathematics, always try to keep a separate time when you will not be disturbed.
  2. SCIENCES:  Sciences include biology, physics and chemistry. Most students find science very difficult. But it can be made easy. Make notes in class and on the same day revise the notes and read the text to understand. Try to convert your text to be learned in flow charts, points, diagrams. Practice the diagrams of biology very well and much in advance of the exams. One can easily get full marks for correct labelling. Similarly the formulas, charts everything should be on the tip of your fingers. There is no understanding required, and if you know them, you will get marks.   3. SOCIAL SCIENCES: most of the students don’t give much importance to these subjects. But a little preparation can go a long way in scoring very good marks. When reading the text, keep a highlighter and keep marking the points that you can elaborate. Then these points only need to be learnt. If possible make flow charts. CBSE guess papers, sample papers of CBSE should be used extensively. Make a list of all the questions and write their answers in the given word limit. Just before the examinations, you just need to go through these answers. Map work is very important as it can again give you full marks. So practice your maps much before the exams not leaving it for last revision.
  4. LANGUAGES: at least 2 languages are to be studied for the CBSE exams. You should have read the text very well. CBSE worksheets with the CBSE Last Year Question Papers should be solved to give practice of writing the answers in given number of words. Grammar should not be neglected as they can give you full marks. Similarly ASL, reading and writing skills should also be developed.
  5. PRACTICALS:  Practical are important part of most subjects. And the best part is they can get you full marks. Prepare your lab file neatly.  Be very attentive and learn to do all the experiments yourself.  CBSE teachers are always ready to assist the students.
