Everyone hates taking exams. By unprepared, you cannot expect more marks. However, you can follow the simple guidelines; you can achieve the highest score in any exam.

Study through the year: mid and year-end examinations are going to test your ability to understand the levels of classes. So, studying a lot of materials are going to help to recall the information. By preparing throughout the year, you can expect more percent. If in case, you are preparing the night before an exam, you are going to face the psychological pressure and stress, but also, it will end up with lower marks.

Finding of the exam: make sure you know all the formats or schedule or syllabus of the upcoming exam. Prepare yourself to face the exam by preparing before. You must know the length of the exam, style format and the sections part.

Listen and catch the clues: right before exams, or while teaching the classes, you professor probably drop out the important questions which are going to appear in the exam paper. Make a question yourself: test yourself whether you’re perfect in that question or not. And prepare yourself with the old test papers. You might get surprised with the similar questions in some papers. Keep on practicing if you lack anything.

Make use of textbook: textbooks are the best choices to help you a lot. Mark the headings, sub-headings, key lines, definitions, and review questions. They are designed to draw attention and make a colorful look to the exam paper.

Avoid scribbling: don’t try to scribble your paper by striking. It looks untidy to the examiner. If you have to strike off the line, then just keep one line. So that it won’t look bad. And try to maintain time sense for all the questions. Don't try to stick to the point if you forgot. And don't write everything which you read, make an important note for writing the exam.
