Film making competition by CBSE

CBSE has started a contest on filmmaking to promote awareness about culture and traditions of the north eastern states of India.  The short films on the north eastern states can be made in 22 scheduled languages. The CBSE has named this competition as “THE MARVELS OF NORTH EAST INDIA” .

 

The topics for the short film are:

  1. North East India- Land of Enormous Beauty
  2. Vibrant/ colorful festivals of North-East
  3. North East India Tourism -Travel Attractions
  4. Crafts of North-East
  5. Flora and Fauna of North-East

 

The film duration can be of maximum 5 minutes and the student can pick up any of the topics above. The form for submission of the films are available on the CBSE website. All entries shall be sent in a CD to Shri Sandeep Sethi, Education Officer, 3rd Floor, Room No. 301, Shiksha Sadan, 17, Rouse Avenue, New Delhi- 110002 latest by 20th February, 2015.

Each entry must be accompanied by:

  1. Properly filled up form in all respects in the enclosed format attached
  2. Appropriate clearances or certification of rights if required
  3. Letter of attestation from the school Principal
  4. One copy of the film on DVD video in .avi format.
  5. Films shot on mobiles phones are also acceptable.
  6. Selected entries will be notified and screened at a suitable platform.


Prizes for the selected entries

1st Prize – 10,000

2nd Prize – 7,500

3rd Prize – 5,000
