Few tips to keep in mind before you go for the exam

Only five days being left for the well awaited Joint Entrance Exam (Main) ,students may get panic through this last stage of two years of exhausted preparation. Stay calm and focused on what you have prepared, to boost your confidence. Here are few tips to crack this exam.

Do not touch new topics

It takes time to learn and understand new topics. Being only five days in your hand there are many things to be revised which you have already learnt. So, focusing on new topics may create confusion and you will lose marks for already what you know due to lack of time for revision. Overlooking on few topics and clearing doubts on them can be a good practice, instead.

Solving Mock Tests

Mock test gives you the practice of your exam in real sense .It covers all the sections of your CBSE syllabus. That means you can go through all the topics in just a span of three hours .You can know your strengths and weaknesses through these tests and the main thing you will learn will be time management, i.e., completion of paper within limited time. After completing mock test, you can also go through solution those questions where you got stuck which will eventually clear your doubts and boost your confidence.

Basics are everything

This examination tests about your basic knowledge of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from 11th and 12th Standard NCERT syllabus. So, read NCERT books to make your basic foundation strong. Having strong base helps you in solving twisted questions that comes in exam. Reading many reference books will not prove that helpful.

Stay Fresh

Be mentally fresh. Remember one thing; your optimum result comes when you are free not when you are under stress. Listen to the music when you feel. Do whatever that will make you feel positive. Walk on the streets, stay with your family some time, and refresh yourself.

Health is important

To remain mentally fit, you need to be physically strong. Have morning exercise. Eat something in regular interval. Do not starve yourself. Have adequate sleep of 7-8 hours.

Avoid group studies

Group studies may make you feel low at your confidence if your friend knows better about the subject than you. It may increase anxiety.

Final day tips

Have a good sleep the day before your exam.

Have a light breakfast before you go to the exam.

Be well prepared with your stationary things and do not forget to your admit card.

Read all the instructions very carefully.

Reach the centre 30 min earlier.
