After suspecting blue whale victims The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued some guidelines to school for safe usage of internet. Children should be careful about dealing with strangers they meet online and smart enough to not fall into “online scam artist” who is always ready to take advantage of innocent targets. One should not give any kind of personal information such as address, phone number, and pictures and should not open emails or attachments from unknown people. Also, should not become ‘online friend” with strangers and never agree on meeting any person they met online. Should always inform parents, if anything they see or read anything suspicious online.

For most of the students, the internet is a way to stay in touch with the current world through online news, research information, buying stuff online and to download books or applications etc. Nowadays the internet is also popular for e-cash, banking, paying bills and submitting applications and forms. Using a web browser may be easy but there are always some cons for everything, by saying that a web browser can also lead your dangers like exposer of personal information online and system threats like malware, which have viruses, spyware, and adware. A smart browsing means staying aware of this online harmful area and taking the necessary steps to prevent them.
