CBSE takes Serious Steps For Revaluation

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reported to the Delhi High Court (HC) that the writ for re-evaluation has been withdrawn as per the wish of many students. And students can apply for re-evaluation of their answer sheets. If any students request CBSE that their answer sheet is not verified according to the marking terms of the subjects, then the board will take several actions for it and will rectify the problem.

The CBSE board will take the petitions one by one and will rectify it by the basis of ‘First Come First Serve’. The marking scheme will be updated to the website very shortly.

The decision of CBSE board to remove re-evaluation process was mainly that after revaluation of certain answer sheets the average mark difference is ought to be 0.02% only. And this decision was a well advanced announced decision to the students while in October 2016 itself.

Aakanksha Nehra said that the aim of verification should be to check whether all the marks are given for the answers in the answer sheet rather than checking of marks on the front page are same as the marks are given for all the answers in the answer sheet.

The government also said that removing re-evaluation process must not be done in a hurry burry process. It must be done correctly and performed with the full support of the students also.
