CBSE has issued strict advisory to schools on issuance of admit cards for board exams. CBSE has been receiving complaints from many students and parents that their schools are holding back their board exam admit cards based on issues like performance in pre board exams, lack of required attendance, non payment of fees etc.

Based on these complaints CBSE has issued instructions that all admit cards must be given to students without any further delay.

Incase your admit card has not been given by your school till now then you can call up the CBSE helpline and tell them your problem and also regarding this important instruction given by CBSE.

Please also quote the following : Rule 15 of the CBSE's examination bylaws states that in no case the heads of affiliated schools shall detain eligible candidates from appearing at the examination. "It may be noted that the board issues admit card only to those candidates which have been sponsored by schools in their finalized list of candidates of class X and XII. Therefore, the school has already confirmed the eligibility of such candidates for appearing in board examination," said the circular.
