CBSE examinees to receive e-mails and SMS alerts soon

The CBSE Board i.e. the Central Board of Secondary Education will soon start effectively delivering communications to the board examinees in order to keep them aware of the various newest improvements and also to enhance the overall interaction.

Officials in CBSE's said the board has finished obtaining the cell numbers and the right contact information of the students of sessions X, XI and XII from most of the educational institutions associated to it. A few of the educational institutions which are situated in distant places are yet to publish the information.

"Email IDs and cell number of the learners will help us get ready a data resource. This will also allow us to know the estimated variety of the examinees who will sit for the two board exams,".

Latest changes in course sessions and the different projects by the board will also be straight turned off to the learners, he included.

Das said this would also help the board in preparing and calculating the variety of the responses, question papers, centers and also the right time frames needed in order to prepare for the board exams.

"Receiving communications straight from CBSE will help us a lot. I wish it will reduce our problems," said Santanu Choudhury, a town student.

Sources in the board said that the principals of the school were given only 7 days to deliver the communications to the students. "The board is likely to take a choice in this respect soon," as said by the sources.
