CBSE Decides To Have Hindi As A Compulsory Subject For Schools In UAE

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Board is being decided to bring Hindi as compulsory subjects for all affiliated schools in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is been discussing to make it as a compulsory subject for grade till class 10.

But to these confusions, it is the students and parents who are in the confusion stage. Some students have omitted Hindi subject for quite a long time and they have been learning French, Malayalam, Urdu, and Spanish. There was full freedom to choose their third language as their wish. It is being only English and Arab as their compulsory languages and third languages were their option to choose.

So now students who have not learned Hindi right from their childhood will find it difficult to co-op with this new system. CBSE board has to think and make the right decision for the welfare of the students and their studies.

Last year as like the same confusions there was another issue like bringing in a new method for class 9th and class 10th to choose two Indian languages as compulsory, along with English. But then later it was announced that this decision has been put to hold and a decision will be made and come into existing from the year 2020 only.

Schools are in the support of parents and students. They can understand the issues and other problems that will rise up due to the decision raised being Hindi as a compulsory language. Still, there no official announcement of this decision so schools are being waited for the board decision.

Making this decision suddenly can bring problems to the students who are in the upper grade. So, instead of bringing one of the languages it can make as an additional subject to the students.

Some schools are taking steps to reduce the burden of the children like they introduce Arab subject at the Grade 1 and Malayalam and Urdu t the Grade 2 and Hindi from Grade 3. And at the later grade, they can choose English instead of Malayalam and Urdu. By introducing new languages at some different stages the burden of students can be reduced.

And parents are much worried hearing this news. Because having some new subject suddenly in the upper grades, students might find it difficult to co-op with the new subject. Compulsory subjects must always be introduced to the children from grade 1 only. They had their small request to the Board to introduce the compulsory subject from grade 1 and in their middle of the grades.

But schools and the board later announced at the request of the parents it will be made into the right proper method and will be introduced from the next academic only. Students and parents can relax and whatever they have to get ready for the new methods and regulations that will be imposed by the CBSE board.
