CBSE Class 10 Social Science Exam: Final tips and points to remember for the students

While the students of class 10th preparing for Social Science examination, Here are few of the last minute's tips to remember. The board exams organised or conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) every year for class 10. The exams, in general, commence from the first week of March and will finish by the end of the month. Final tips at the last moment:

  • Never try to mugup the topic, rather understand it properly and write in down in your own words and in point wise.
  • Keep on practising the CBSE sample papers so that you may have an idea about the pattern of the exam and the questions too.
  • It is advisable and wise to revise all the chapter at least twice before the exam, well in advance.
  • It is always smart and advisable to use some tricks and tactics to remember the Names, dates, and places etc. Example, you may use flash cards and write the important points and stick them to your study table or wall or in your room so that you may see in while moving around and anytime you want.
  • It is advisable not to read at the last minutes.it might hamper the studies that you have done so far.so avoid studying at the last minutes.
  • And the most important part to earn a good mark in any exam is how you write your paper, I mean how neatly and tidy you present your paper. So have a look on that too

Examination Blueprint:

  • The Candidates will have 90 minutes in hand to cover 90 question. With all questions compulsory.
  • The candidates would have 8 question carrying 1 marks each. They will appear on the question paper right the beginning, the first 8 questions. And the candidates are expected to answer them in short.
  • While question number 9 to 21 consists of 3 marks each and expected to be answered in around 80 words or less.
  • Finally, the candidates will encounter with lengthy answer type questions and have to be answered in and around 120 words carrying 5 marks each.
  • Candidates will have some extra map questions from Geography and will have 3 marks on them.
  • Apart from these, the candidates will be encountered with some multiple choice type of question. Where candidates need to choose the right answer from the options or choices given.

Candidates should write lots and lots of test papers, to have a vast idea about the pattern of the examinations and also help them to have a revision on the subject. Following the above suggestion, the students may achieve good scores in CBSE Social Science Examination.
