CBSE Board examination students grievance cell – “Observation Schedule”

The CBSE board for Uttar Pradesh has taken a step further for the benefit of the CBSE students. An “Observation Schedule” has been set up as per which the students and teachers can send their observations regarding the questions which will come in the CBSE board examinations. If the questions are out of syllabus, too difficult for the students to solve or has not been translated properly for the students can be reported to the Central Board of Secondary Education.

Following is the process defined by the board:

a)      Observation Schedule Forms have been already sent by the CBSE board to all the 1500 schools in the UP state.

b)      Within 24 hours of the board exam the students will approach the teachers and explain their grievance about the questions. The strict deadline has been set keeping into consideration that the evaluation of the answer sheets will start almost immediately.

c)       The teachers will up the forms sent by CBSE

d)      The Principals of the schools will verify the forms and will forward them to the subject experts of their respective regions and to the joint secretary coordination and the examination controller.

e)      The scheduled officers will review the forms

f)       If a common consensus is formed about the grievances then action will be taken and the marking of the questions will be accordingly done to benefit the students.

g)      The feedback for the class 12th and 10th board examination will be collated and will be used in the next year’s board examinations too.
