CBSE announces revaluation process 2017

By the intervention of Delhi high court on a petition complained against the action taken by CBSE in revaluation of exam papers

CBSE have announced that they will be conducting a revaluation of class 10 and 12 and students are open to apply for the same till July 7, But the process is only for those students who have applied for a copy of their exam booklet and can apply for a recheck of 10 questions in 12 subjects which includes subjects like English core, English elective (CBSE), English elective (NCERT), Hindi core, Hindi elective, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, business studies, economics and accountancy.

In a notice CBSE said that for class 10 there will be a re verification of marks in which the awarded marks are added again to eliminate errors if any.

Points to note:

Revaluation is only for those students who have applied for exam booklet

Revaluation is only for 10 questions in 12 subjects

For evaluation of each question a cost of 100 is charged

Only re verification for class 10

July 7 is the last date to apply
