CBSE 2017 NET EXAM ON NOVEMBER 19TH

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Board has announced the date for the National Eligibility Test (NET).You can view the details more about the NET exam in the website www.cbse.nic.in. This exam is mostly conducted for Junior Research Fellowship and for Assistant Professor.

The registration for this exam starts from August month and it ends August 30. It is usually conducted by UGC, but this year it is conducted by CBSE for Indians for the post in Indian universities itself.

The exam will be conducted for a period of 6 months that is in the month of June and December. But from this year there are changes imposed by CBSE and it will be conducted in the months of July and January.

From this year there are many changes in the regulations are also imposed. Getting a Ph.D. degree is quite difficult as we all know, but more interestingly it has become still tougher to get a Ph.D. course. UGC has given new regulations, where a candidate who wants to get qualified for a Ph.D. course has to get pass marks from the NET exam.

The NET exam is usually of three papers, where students must score average in all the three papers to do get a Ph.D. degree and to work on the projects. CBSE Board only conducts the NET exam and the results will be declared by UGC only.

For General category, the fees are Rs.600. For other Backward Class, the fees are Rs.300. And for SC/ST category the fees is Rs.150.

NET exam will be conducted on November 19th. The last date to pay fees will be August 31st.And so the Last date registration will be August 30th
