The board exams for class 10 and class 12 are set to begin from Monday next week. Almost 12 lakh students from class 12 and 16.5 lakhs students from class 10 are going to sit in the board exams this year. Since the exams have returned after a gap of many years so the stress level amongst students is bound to be high this year.
In order to make it little relaxed for students the CBSE has given some relaxation to class 10 students by setting the passing marks at 33 for this year. This is applicable for only the current year board exams as a one time relaxation for students.
The passing marks of 33 will be a combination of internal assessments and board marks.

b) Total number of boys registered: 9,67,325
c) Differently abled students: 4510
d) 4453 exam centres and 17,574 schools

a) Total number of girls registered: 4,95,899
b) Total number of boys registered: 6,90,407
c) Differently abled students: 2846
d) 4138 centres and 11,518 schools.
